Not receiving my confirmation email

I am not receiving the confirmation email required for me to edit my website. Although I have triggered the "send email" button twice and told that an email has been sent, I still don't find it in my inbox. I've checked the spam folder but cannot find it there either. Can I change the email address and see if that might work? If so, how?

Yes, write another email and then click the "send email" button.
